Our global team is actively involved in fabric development, overseeing every stage from inception to production. This meticulous attention guarantees quality throughout the fabric development process. At our factory in Pakistan, we specialize in manufacturing high-quality uniforms, ensuring that our precision and expertise meet the highest industry standards. Additionally, our catering equipment is sourced directly from our offices in Guangzhou and Hong Kong. This direct sourcing allows us to guarantee the authenticity and reliability of our products, ensuring that we consistently deliver exceptional quality to all of our customers.

Our History

The journey began in 1979 when the Butt family established Hayes Catering Supplies in a modest retail shop in Southall, specializing in foodservice equipment. The business thrived, growing from a small local warehouse in 1990 to a larger facility in 2002. In 2005, Bonchef was launched, introducing a branded line of chef’s clothing to our product range. The success of the chef’s clothing quickly became evident, with our high-quality, low-cost formula resonating with customers. This led to an increase in international orders, and we successfully expanded our distribution to Europe, Dubai, and Africa.

In 2012 we gained patnerships in Guangzhou, China and Hong Kong to source our foodservice equipment ranges. In 2014, due to space issues Bonchef was forced to move again, and this time we moved to a new site in Reading where we work from today. The merger of Hayes Catering Supplies and Bonchef was decided upon and we continued with the name Bonchef. Bonchef today, is still owned by the Butt family and very proud to trade as a family business. We pride ourselves on our friendly and efficient service and will always do our best for all our customers. Our business is reliant upon the strength of our customers and the relationships we have forged with them over the years.
